365 days of SL, day 228:

No, this is a different beach: the one in Rohanda, already seen on day 190, not the one in Calenost. There's a little pond behind the beach proper, with waterlilies and swans (and a duck that moves at a ludicrous speed that almost makes you expect to hear "Yakety Sax"). Except for the duck, it's a pretty relaxing (and relaxed) spot. :)

Oooh, so pretty. And definitely relaxing. (The superfast duck sounds funny. But not relaxing. :-D )

Hehe, yeah — it was rather relaxing indeed, and the duck gave me a good laugh when it zoomed by at a significantly higher speed than you'd expect from any duck. :)

Ooh, that is rather nicely done! Of course, seeing water that nice in SL sort of reminds me how wonderful it would be to have real fluids, and thereby, fountains, streams, and waterfalls.. still, in the meantime, such relaxing sights (I'm going to have to go there both for the general view, and that duck =:) are a fine setting in which to muse on such possibilities. ^_^

Oh, yes, wouldn't THAT be nice... ^^

I can't guarantee the duck will be there and doings it things, of course; for all I know, it may have been a glitch. I saw it race across the pond once, but didn't otherwise look for it.

I sorta hope it wasn't, though. Unexpected and amusing little touches like that are nice, and should happen more often. :)
