An MLP:FiM fan animation that's been in the works for a long time has just been released yesterday — Children of the Night:

And what a wonderful animation it is! I don't know for how long I've been waiting for this one, but it was well worth the wait indeed. Kudos to everyone involved: Richard Sirois and Jordana Gonzalez, David Larsen and Sarah Williams, and of course the musicians, Kate Covington and Uriel Sandoval. It's utterly amazing what fans can produce these days, and I'll echo what one Youtube commenter said: please get hired by DHX to work on the show. You're definitely in that league.

Bravo bravissimo!

(BTW, Kate Covington's arrangement of Come Little Children can be downloaded for free or bought for a buck (or more). The waltz version used for the end credits, done by Uriel Sandoval, is available as a free download here.)

Wow, this is a non-professional fan produced piece? Amazing. I'd have watched it and thought it was from a major animation production house.

It is, yes! And yes, same here; the quality's top-notch, just as good as anything that the professional studios and animation houses might produce.
