CSS animations II

Remember what I said about CSS animations? (Note — you'll probably need Firefox or so for that post to be displayed properly.) It's easy to dismiss that as the kind of abuse of a useful feature that you'll not see "in the wild", but if blink tags have taught us one lesson, then surely it must be that everything that can be abused WILL, and CSS animations are no exception, as this site belonging to an Icelandic investment firm proves.

It's oddly hypnotic, but I struggle to come up with any credible explanation for why someone would think that this sort of website design makes good business sense.

I've no idea — I have a feeling that alcohol was involved, quite possibly of the homemade variety. ;)

@.@;;

I am left very dearly hoping that's merely a manifestation of the Icelandic sense of humor. ^_^

Dizzying, isn't it?

And I hope so, too — and it probably is. You gotta keep yourself entertained on those long, dark winter days, after all.
