It's not quite worthy of an Ignobel prize, but it got a chuckle out of me, anyway: Use of cookies in real-time system development, a paper by M. Gleixner and M. McGuire (the wives of Thomas Gleixner and Nicholas McGuire, apparently). It even has some code. :)

(That's cookies, BTW, not cookies.)

Hehe, yeah. ^^

Somebody should really do a study on the effects of eating various kinds of cookies on people. ;) I believe that really might be worth an Ignobel prize... (I'd volunteer as a test subject, too. Gotta help humanity march forward bravely...)
