This is rather neat.

Unfortunately, as far as I can tell (which is not very far, to be quite honest), it's not actually possible to buy tickets through that site yet unless you happen to be from the USA, but it's a good way of getting an overview over your options, nevertheless. And hey, the site's been up for less than two weeks. :)

(And "sort by agony"... I like that.)

Interesting. We have to make travel arrangements come xmas and this might be a help. I myself avoid planes (phobic) but this isn't for me anyway :o)

*nods* I rather like flying, myself... at least in principle. In practice, being jammed into a very cramped seat after waiting for hours in various places and going through ridiculous, pointless searches, only to find out that airlines these days appear to care more about selling you overpriced crap than to make your trip pleasant (or less unpleasant)... that's pretty meh.

That said, I *do* like how fast it is — at least if you disregard the amount of time you'll have to spend at the airport.

I have used Kayak.com to search out flights before myself

Ah, I hadn't heard of that one. *checks* Oh, they're available here as well; that's nice. Hipmunk's UI etc. is quite a bit slicker, though.

Mmm, yeah, fuzzy searching with flexible dates would be nice, but at least the site makes it easy for you to conduct several searches without jumping through any unnecessary hoops.

I just checked out kayak, too; "a little clumsy" describes it quite well, I think. Yeah, ultimately it's the results that matter, of course, but maybe the existence of this new site will drive the older ones to add a bit more polish as well. :)
