I have a distinct feeling I'm posting too much about Second Life at the moment in general, and too many screenshots in particular, but I suppose I'll get used to it, and there are some other posts to balance these, too. So here's day 3 of the "365 days of SL" project.

Now THAT is what I call a mall — chock full of stuff, visually busy in the extreme, and you'll have a very hard time actually finding anything that you're looking for. Why people use these instead of searching the SL Marketplace is beyond me (although not everything seems to be available on the Marketplace, and its search is much less advanced than it should be in order to really be useful).
It was an interesting experience, but I don't really see the appeal (even if you like going shopping in general). Fortunately, most of SL is decidedly NOT like this.
We didn't stay for long; one of us wanted to look for some items and/or inspiration, and after a while, we left again and instead sat in my own home for a while, trying on different outfits and talking. In fact, here's a bonus picture (larger) of canisrufus_uk performing a kata in red elemental armor with a blue energy sword. :)
