365 days of SL, day 18:

(Click for larger — 1920x1033 PNG, 1511 KiB)

The initial plan for yesterday was to just hang out at Lake Alicia again, but we ended up getting pulled elsewhere. Here, some ideas for cells are being prototyped/experimented with; whether these will ever see actual use and (if so) if it'll be in their current form is another question, but they're a neat idea. You don't often see cells that can be hexagonally stacked (or used for a hexagonal floor tiling).

The color of the bars (which, in their current form, might be energy barriers, lasers, or even solid bars) is subject to change, BTW; they're pink here, but they were changed to a rich yellow shortly after. The final cells might well use something else entirely, too; it's all very much subject to change.

Hmm, game idea.

Take a big room, with these as the floor, with narrow walkways in between them. One victim is blindfolded and has to pick someone they can trust to guide them across the room. If they make it, they win something, if they don't they spend 30 minutes in whichever cell they fell in.

Mmm, that sounds interesting — you'd have to make sure you're in a fairly lag-free environment, though, or alternatively give people a mulligan if a lag bubble hits them.

That said, I know some people who I think could enjoy this. :)

Thanks! BTW, I should make it clear that these aren't mine, BTW; I was merely there to take a look and provide input. :)
