The above screenshot shows a store, Divivity Delectables — and you may be wondering why I chose this one for today's shot. No, it's not because we happened to shop there.
No, the reason is that we actually expected to find an entirely different place. As far as I can tell, the building above is what used to house a small-but-classy piano bar in the past:

We visited this bar in November 2010 (which is when these screenshots were taken); apparently (or so rumor has it), it occasionally featured Philip Linden as a performer. Philip Linden, of course, is the SL name of Philip Rosedale, the creator of Second Life; at the very least (according to this page), he seems to have been the original creator of the piano the bar was built around (in 2002, before SL's public launch).
We wanted to visit this bar again yesterday, but much to our dismay, we found it was gone. However, the above building, pretty much the same size and shape, is located in pretty much the same spot now; disregarding whether the prims are still technically the same, it may well be that it represents the same building, repurposed as a retail outlet.
It's a pity the bar doesn't exist anymore, though, and the surrounding area (not shown in the above screenshot) was downright gaudy. I'm glad I took those two screenshots back then when we last went there, at least.
