365 days of SL, day 86:

We went shopping for boots for me last night, and I was delighted to see that the store was actually looking good; not just an empty room with garish textures plastered all over each wall, but an actual store, with shelves and everything. I still appreciate that a lot.

I got a nice pair, too:

Or six pairs, rather; the fatpack containing all six colors of the Motoko model (which I wanted) cost less than two individual pairs would have, so I said screw it and just got them all. :P I've only worn the black ones so far, but I imagine the others may come in handy some time, too. Maybe I'll even go pink! :)

And just because I know you're curious, here's a picture of me wearing them:

Location (store): Never Land (31, 117, 22) (.:Ducknipple:. & PD - Mainstore)

Ducknippleducknippleducknipple... I vaguely remember reading that there were some Disney artists who (sometimes? for a while?) tended to draw Daisy and other female ducks with breasts; they got told to erase them again, and as a result, you can see panels in older stories where e.g. Daisy is hugging and kissing Donald, and there's a strange distance between them (since she was previously smushing her tits against him).

Google also suggests that a "duck nipple" may be a nipple drinker for ducks, e.g. at poultry farms. I doubt the store's named after that, though. :)

"Ducknipple" really is a strange word. But it sticks in your mind, and maybe that's why that name was chosen! :D
