365 days of SL, day 155:

(Click for larger — 1920x1033 PNG, 1757 KiB)

Not much to say about this one. There's planes all over SL in a variety of places, and you can often identify them on the map by virtue of their sheer size; this airfield is located on Sansara, southeast of Omidyar (the sim we visited yesterday).

They had the usual assortment of bombers and fighters, too, many of them from WW2; among other things, you can see a Messerschmitt Bf 109E there, two Polikarpov I-16s, and more. (If you're a plane aficionado and want to kill some time, here's a fun task: identify all the planes in the screenshot, and post a comment below!)

As you can see, the southern part of Sansara is covered in snow (and indeed, this part is known as "the Snowlands"). I don't know why I've never visited there before; much as I love tropical beaches, I'm a fan of snow and cold weather as well (comes with being an arctic wolf, really), so I should go there more often. :)

And there's roads near by. The narrow road one sim the west is actually a railway track; a little further north, the track is joined by an actual road at the SLRR Rail Group's Okemo Gorge rest area, although the road does not seem to have a name or number. FWIW, neither does the road to the southeast, but then that one stops just at the border to the Snowlands, anyway.

Location: Blacktail Ridge (125, 136, 160) (THI Aircraft Division)

Thanks. ^^ Yeah, still going strong! And at this point, I'm quite sure I'll be able to do the entire 365 days (minus those where I don't have an opportunity to log on to SL), too.

Nicht schlecht, stimmt fast alles! :)
