Contrary to what you might think, there doesn't seem to be a lot of HAM radio activity in SL. Why that is, I can't say; perhaps it's that unlike with things like sailing or flying, there isn't much of a way of actually simulating HAM radio operation in SL, and if there were, you'd just build an imperfect communication medium on top of a (in comparison) perfect one by intentionally hobbling the latter.
Searching for HAM radio-related places only yields a few hits; the above place is one of them. Apparently there is a Second Life Amateur Radio League, but just how much activity that one's seeing (if it still exists) is unclear, too. The only Google hit for it is the November 2007 newsletter of the Dallas Amateur Radio Club, which mentions it on page 10, although I'm sure that it won't take long before this here entry will be picked up as well. :P
Anyhow, the screenshot isn't the best, perhaps, but there was only so much I could do, what with the glowy walls and all that.
