365 days of SL, day 236:

A friend of mine told me about a place he'd seen recently that he wanted to show me last night — an adult place with a BDSM connection, that is. Merely arriving there didn't really show anything particularly unusual, but if you zoomed out and viewed the sim from above, you could see some creative terraforming in action: the entire sim was built in the shape of a woman (a red one, for some reason), wearing fishnets and high heels.

It's pretty rare to see this kind of thing; in fact, the only other example I can think of right now is the giant Second Life hand logo we encountered on day 154. Presumably this is because sims are expensive, and people don't want to use them just for this sort of thing.

I wonder if there's a male version to be found somewhere, too. :)

Hee! Okay, that's in the advanced category of sim art. =:D

ISTR there is/was a furry sim in the shape of a pawprint, either in the FurNation cluster, or in the vicinity of Serenity Woods - but that was a simple terrain map, rather a long way from this.

Reminds me, I need to check out the skunk transformer sometime, if the device is still available - the outcomes did look most shiny. ^_^

Heh, I wouldn't be surprised! If you find it, let me know; so far the only pawprint-related landscape I've found is an island in FP Yokai (day 82) and a lake in Jaguar Valley (day 83).

Skunk transformer? Sounds fun! :)

I'll have a look around - I otter drop in-world sometime soon anyway, as I've got a couple new demo items to try on. ^_^

Irksomely, I hadn't tagged that entry in my journal with "skunk", but - as I found on locating the entry by going back through them all - "rubber skunk". Nonetheless, here it is.. !

Ah, those! I've seen those before, yes; they're certainly cute. The ballet boots always seemed a bit basic to me, but obviously the avatars are a labor of love. And you can't go wrong with skunks. :)
