365 days of SL, day 279:

I went back to Jaguar Valley last night, hoping to perhaps see a different light sculpture or so in its Northwest Corner (after canisrufus_uk commented on the one shown on day 268 and remarked that they change every now and then), but alas, the parcel was (mostly) empty now, save for a sign saying "for rent".
At least the rest of the sim still looked lovely and wintery, so I headed to a different area to maybe look for a nice screenshot; and I think this one's interesting enough, especially with the sun behind that tower (lighthouse?) and the fire illuminating its top. I do wish there was something to conceal the sim border on the left, though... ideally another sim. :P
The environment, BTW, must specifically have been set up to create a wintery atmosphere, which is very nice and goes quite a bit beyond the usual "make the ground snowy and maybe add some snowy stuff" winter decorations that many sims do. And a lot of attention was obviously paid to all the trees and other objects in the sim; even the river ahead of me was frozen.
But yeah, the environment. Just to illustrate this, I took a few more screenshots with the four "standard" settings:

I do like the "morning/dawn/sunrise" setting, too, but the sim default is the best and most atmospheric.
