I went back to FFF for a while last night, to relax; just to sit there, enjoy the scenery (which IS pretty, and which is not ENTIRELY covered in snow even at this time of year), and relax for a bit.
The horse is a memorial, BTW, one of several scattered around FFF and dedicated to various individuals who helped the sim in various ways and then moved to greener pastures. This one was for Jo Gallindo, who joined FFF as a ponygirl (with a particular fondness for jumping and steeplechases) and later became a trainer and a stable mistress who helped run the stable for several years. She passed away in August 2012; the horse is overlooking a steeplechase course, and the gazebo where I'm sitting was apparently one of her favorite spots at FFF, too.
It's always moving to read about people who made such a difference. It makes my own daily worries and concerns seem insignificant in comparison, but it also serves as a painful reminder that I'm not doing anything anywhere near as meaningful, and likely never will.
(Unrelatedly, BTW, this is one of the largest screenshots I've ever featured as part of this project, filesize-wise; it's not THE largest, but it's ranked #7, after day 91 (3480 KiB), day 17 (3305 KiB), day 44 (3262 KiB), day 88 (3256 KiB), day 3 (3096 KiB) and day 77 (3042 KiB), the only other ones to exceed 3000 KiB.)
