The Anthropomorphic Research Project has a new furry survey out. You can either take this one as a single survey, or you can participate in an ongoing study that'll feature about three surveys per year for a period of three years:
Spring 2013 Survey / Furry Longitudinal Study Wave 1 Recruitment
It's here at last, the 2013 Furry Survey / Wave 1 of the Furry Longitudinal Study! Please read below for the details of the study!
Want to be a part of the scientific study of furries? Interested in participating in the world’s first longitudinal furry study?
You are invited to participate in an online survey of furries and the furry fandom being conducted by social scientists at the University of Waterloo (Waterloo, ON, Canada), Renison University College (Waterloo, ON, Canada), Niagara County Community College (Sanborn, NY, USA), and Texas A&M University–Commerce (Commerce, TX, USA)! If you are 18 years of age or older, you are eligible to participate!
You have two options for participation:
1) You may participate in the study as a one-time survey participant, or
2) You can sign up to be a part of an ongoing longitudinal study of furries that will involve three online surveys per year for the next three years: one each February, June, and October. Each survey in the longitudinal study will range from fifteen minutes to approximately half an hour in length and each one will be completely voluntary.
Questions will vary between each survey, but will generally pertain to different aspects of furry culture, sexual orientation, personality, well-being, recreational/fantasy activities, and attitudes/beliefs about topical issues (e.g. religion, politics). You will be informed, before each survey, about the general content of the survey before you participate. You may choose to decline to participate then, or at any point during any survey.
In appreciation for your time, at the end of every survey you will be invited to take part in a draw for one of three $50 Amazon.com gift certificates!
Check out the site for more info, or take it here (as a single survey); if you want to participate in the ongoing study, email the researchers for an access token.
And just as a reminder, the other furry survey is still open, too.
