While wandering aimlessly on Gaeta V yesterday, I noticed a new structure along Route 7 that I'd not seen before, a little beachfront property with a hut and trees behind it. I'm not usually a huge fan of fencing parcels, but the trees did look nice enough, better than the textured wall eyesores that some people like to put up for inexplicable reasons.
It was night, too, and there was a glow emanating from the hut, which really looked quite nice. Check it out above! And here's another shot from the inside, too:

It's really neat to think that pretty much everything you can see in these pictures is resident-built. I still think that that's one thing that makes Second Life really unique and different from other MMO games, to the point where I actually hesitate to call it a "game": you can do all sorts of things in it you cannot do anywhere else in the same way, and people actually do them, too. When you think about it, it's really amazing.
(And yeah, some of the trees are growing in through the wall there. Think of them as kitchen herbs or something. :))
